Turn a steel box into a protected equipment room
Shipping containers are a fast, secure way to house generators, controls, servers and batteries. Uninsulated steel walls also make them heat traps in summer and cold boxes in winter, which is hard on electronics.
PrecisionAir units mount directly to the container wall, cool the interior with a closed air loop and include a heater for cold weather. BBCOND handles unit selection, wall cutouts, mounting, electrical connection and start-up for container fabricators, integrators and end users.

Frequently asked questions
-
How big a unit does a 20 or 40 foot container need?
It depends on the equipment heat load, insulation and sun exposure. We calculate the load and match it to a unit between 2,000 and 28,000 BTU/h.
-
Can you cut the container wall for the unit?
Yes. We lay out the cutouts from the manufacturer’s dimensional drawings and seal the installation.
-
Is a heater included?
PrecisionAir units include heaters from 500 to 2,000 watts depending on the model.
