New-build refrigeration, not repair calls
BBCOND designs and installs new commercial refrigeration across Colorado. Most refrigeration companies in the Denver market are built around service calls and repairs. We are built around new construction: custom walk-in boxes, matched refrigeration systems and large infrastructure replacements, delivered as complete projects from layout and permits through startup.
Every walk-in we install pairs a Crown Tonka insulated box with a Heatcraft refrigeration system, sized for your product load and for Colorado altitude. BBCOND has been installing commercial mechanical systems since 2015.

Who we build for
- Cannabis cultivation and processing: Cold storage for post-harvest, curing and finished product, with tight temperature and humidity control.
- Breweries, distilleries and wineries: Keg coolers, cold rooms and packaging storage sized for production growth.
- Hotels, resorts and hospitality: Walk-in coolers and freezers for banquet kitchens and mountain resort operations.
- Outdoor permanent walk-ins: Weatherproof coolers and freezers built for Colorado snow loads, sun and wind.
- Grocery and food production: Cooler and freezer rooms for grocers, distributors and food processors.
- Supermarkets and big-box retail: Refrigeration piping and rack system replacement, phased around store hours.

Crown Tonka boxes, Heatcraft systems
- Crown Tonka walk-in boxes: Insulated panel coolers, freezers and combination units, custom-sized to your floor plan, ceiling height and door layout.
- Heatcraft refrigeration: Condensing units and matched evaporators in top-mount, side-mount and remote configurations.
- Indoor or outdoor: Interior boxes, exterior boxes with roof systems, and remote condensing units on pads or rooftops.
- Altitude-adjusted sizing: Systems specified for Front Range and mountain elevations so they perform in Colorado summers.
Refrigeration piping and infrastructure replacement
Large grocery and retail stores rely on miles of refrigeration piping connecting compressor racks to display cases and walk-ins. When that piping reaches the end of its life, patching leaks one at a time stops making sense.
BBCOND replaces refrigeration piping and rack infrastructure for supermarkets, big-box retailers and cold storage facilities. We plan the work in phases, overnight or around operating hours, so stores keep selling while the system is rebuilt. Projects can include suction and liquid line replacement, rack change-outs, case and walk-in reconnection, and conversion to lower-GWP refrigerants.

How a project runs
- Site survey and load calculation: We measure the space, review power and drainage, and size the box and system to your product and usage.
- Layout and quote: A clear scope covering box, refrigeration, electrical coordination, permits and startup.
- Permits and scheduling: We pull mechanical permits and schedule around production, harvests or store hours.
- Installation and startup: Box assembly, refrigeration piping, controls, charging, testing and walkthrough.
Project insights
Frequently asked questions
-
Do you repair existing walk-in coolers?
No. BBCOND focuses on new walk-in coolers and freezers and full system replacements. If your current walk-in is failing or too small, we will quote a new Crown Tonka box with Heatcraft refrigeration.
-
Which brands do you install?
We install Crown Tonka walk-in boxes paired with Heatcraft refrigeration systems for coolers, freezers and combination units.
-
Where in Colorado do you work?
BBCOND installs commercial refrigeration across the Denver metro area, the Front Range from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs, and mountain resort communities.
-
Can you build a walk-in outdoors?
Yes. We build permanent outdoor walk-in coolers and freezers with weatherproof roof systems and condensing units rated for Colorado conditions.
-
Can piping replacement happen while a store stays open?
Yes. Supermarket and big-box piping projects are phased, often overnight, so the store keeps operating while sections of the system are replaced.
-
Do you handle permits?
Yes. We pull the required mechanical permits and coordinate inspections as part of the project.
