Choosing an Indoor Unit
There are three main indoor unit styles. Wall-mounted units come in single-zone and multi-zone sizes from 7K to 36K BTU. Floor-mounted units are available in single-zone sizes from 9K to 18K BTU, and ceiling cassette availability varies. Not every style suits every room, so an in-person estimate is the most reliable way to choose.
Many ductless systems are rated at 17 SEER or higher, and cold-climate models are designed to keep heating in sub-zero winter temperatures. Brands serviced include Daikin, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, York and Coleman.
